Vladimir enterprise LLC "ELIZ" celebrates its 25th anniversary. A quarter of a century is not an age for a company with a well-thought-out strategy and a sensitive attitude to market demands. ELIZ LLC produces a wide range of rubber and technical products based on silicone rubber compounds and has earned a reputation as a reliable partner not only in Russia, but also abroad. The products are in demand in various sectors of the economy — mechanical engineering and energy, shipbuilding and the military-industrial complex, nuclear, lighting and food industries. However, the main achievement of the company is a professional, well-coordinated team.

Just recently, we received three more copyright certificates, "says Sergey Kuzkin, Executive Director of ELIZ LLC, not without pride." Economist Faina Begunova has been working at ELIZ LLC since its foundation. I started when there was no separate enterprise-there was only a division of the Vladimir Electric Motor Plant.

— VEMZ used electrical insulation tubes in production almost always — they were purchased on the side, but in the early nineties they decided that they needed to organize their own production, — says Faina Nikolaevna. — The site was formed under the leadership of Alexander Dmitrievich Khudyakov. He invited me to work. I was terribly afraid — I worked on engines for ten years, and here are electrical materials, absolutely everything is new. However, not only for me, but for the plant in general. But Alexander Dmitrievich reassured: if you want to, you'll learn, it's not the gods who burn pots. I had to learn. We produce various electrical insulation materials, one-dimensional profiles, gaskets, reinforced and non-reinforced tubes… There is a section of press parts. Nomenclature — more than 11 thousand products! For each item, you need to make a calculation, calculate the cost price. The work is difficult, but interesting. I am glad that our production is cost-effective and profitable. Even in the most economically challenging times, we were not idle. This gives you a sense of stability, which in our times is worth a lot.

Our conversation with vulcanizer operator Galina Dolganova also started with a valuable feeling of stability and confidence in the future. Vulcanizatorschiki, adjusters, apretirovschiki — the main people in the production areas of "ELIZ".

— I have been working here for 25 years, I like the work and we have a good team, - Galina Vasilyevna says on-the-job, carefully monitoring whether the rubber enters the worm device evenly. — We have a stable salary and team. In the shop there are those who started with me, and those who came later, there are very young employees. It is only at first glance that our work is monotonous, but in reality there are many, many different types of products. Now we are making a flagellum for the military industry.

All shop lines are loaded, employees work according to their own order, observing the accuracy of technology. For the quality of products in "ELIZ" vouch. The company has its own testing laboratory, which allows you to evaluate all the parameters of finished products and incoming raw materials. Elena Yakunina, the head of the laboratory, has been working on insulation materials for almost 30 years, and like many employees of ELIZ LLC, she started at VEMZ.

"In 2016, we equipped a new laboratory, and whenever possible, we purchase modern equipment," says Elena Vladimirovna. — We conduct a lot of tests: we do input control of raw materials, check the quality of finished products. For example, products are exposed to long-term temperatures — negative and positive (up to +260 degrees!), aggressive substances, and breakdown voltage. All parameters specified in the technical specifications must be observed. Only after the acceptance test protocol is signed, the products are shipped to the consumer.

ELIZ constantly develops and introduces new types of products, including unique ones — the company employs a highly professional team of engineers led by Chief Designer Alexey Antoshchuk.

— We work in close contact with the designers, — continues the head of the laboratory. — They are developing a concept, so we need to choose a rubber that can withstand the requirements laid down. Our production expands annually by 20-30 positions. There are a lot of new things, but we try to meet the needs of the market. In our team, everyone is for each other. If you need help, people — both ordinary employees and superiors-will never refuse. Working in such a well-coordinated team is also a great happiness.

Varvara Dreko, Head of the Sales Department (pictured on the right), has been working at ELIZ LLC for 13 years. Over the years, the company has only grown customers. The geography of deliveries already covers all of Russia and half of the CIS countries (Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine). Consumers of the Vladimir company's products are also in foreign countries.

The goal of ELIZ LLC is to develop long-term mutually beneficial relations with all partners. This principle of work of the entire team was laid down by the former director of the enterprise Mikhail Lazarev. Mikhail Vladimirovich had high professionalism and unconditional organizational talent, the company's employees note. Employees and partners appreciated him for his business and human qualities, his ability to solve the most complex problems.

Now the company is headed by Igor Vlasov, who previously headed the technical service of ELIZ LLC.

"Thanks to the wide range of applications, flexible pricing policy, active exhibition activity and, most importantly, the high quality and originality of our products, we manage to expand our order portfolio," says Igor Vlasov. — Of course, as elsewhere, there are ups and downs in the production of rubber-technical products. For example, the exchange rate is negatively affected. Russia is not self-sufficient in terms of rubbers, and from the point of view of technology, we cannot always switch to domestic analogues. However, the uniqueness of ELIZ LLC is also evident in the fact that our company relies on its own human and technical potential. We employ about 70 people. There are no vacancies or turnover. There is stability, a normal salary and a social package. Payments are made on time: salary plus bonus if the plan is completed. It is important that we are constantly moving forward, and I think that not only our employees, but also other residents of Vladimir should know about this: there are enterprises with a 25-year history in our city, they work and work with profit.
