On Monday, Svetlana Orlova visited the Vladimir Electric Motor Plant to personally congratulate Alexander Dmitrievich Khudyakov on being awarded the title of "Honored Machine Builder of the Russian Federation".

Svetlana Orlova read out the Decree of the Head of state and, to the applause of the audience, presented the certificate and badge "Tinned Machine Builder" to Alexander Khudyakov, Technical Director of ELIZ LLC (an enterprise of the VEMZ Group of Companies).: 
— This award in mechanical engineering can be compared with the title of Hero of Socialist Labor, - said Svetlana Orlova.

Alexander Dmitrievich gave engineering 55 years of his life. Literally created new directions in production. In 1992, he came to Vladimir from Kyrgyzstan as an experienced manager. The management of VEMZ invited him to head the new production, which in 2003 grew from a site to a highly profitable enterprise. 
Due to their age and family circumstances, Alexander Dmitrievich and his wife plan to go to Tomsk for a while to live with their son. Svetlana Yurievna promised to call the Governor of the Tomsk region so that the honored machine-builder would receive the necessary support. 
— We will always be glad to see you back on Vladimir land, " she said.
